      ... it had set hard. He submerged the bar in water and after just 1 more minute, he could pick it up in his hand! True!! Gob smacking to watch! The furnace is a new one in the original site of the old furnaces from the early 1900's and when they stopped using the old brick furnaces in 1990, they collected $$$$ worth of gold from the walls, the bricks, the rafters- $$ 100thousand + of gold dust ...

      ... dives with. We very quickly came up with a plan for a little diving holiday down to Busselton for a long weekend.

      I met Tom, his wife Kerryn and their 3 month old, Audrey, Friday morning at the shop and we drove down to Busselton. I was handed a large tub of sweets and chocolate and instantly knew it was going to be a good trip :-)

      ... late at the other end. In between was another world! We were squashed and there was only 8 of us so it is beyond my understanding how 70 fully grown men live in that submarine for months on end!!! We learnt so much about the daily routines, the various jobs aboard, the evacuation procedures, the engines, the torpedoes, the levels ...

      ... did time" at Fremantle Prison on Sunday. The prison was built by convicts in the 1850's and converted to a maximum security prison - and used right up tI'll it was closed in 1991. No plumbing, heating or cooling. Also participated in the Italian tradition of "Blessing of the Fleet" festival. Big active fishing community here in Fremantle.

      ... to get into the office each morning. The building is lovely with beautifully planted gardens all around. Most rooms will have a view outside or onto a lovely internal courtyard. Initially when I started there was just one Jamaica Blue cafe to buy food and coffee. Needless to say the line for 10 o'clock caffeine was very long. The second cafe Food Therapy has just opened and they are still ironing out the kinks. Hopefully they will provide some ...
