Tonight we are dining in the Chops Grille for my birthday. They claim the best steak on the high seas. We have much more motion on this crossing than we did last year in the Pacific. They have drained and closed the pools until we get to some calmer waters. They have also made some subtle changes in the entertainment because of the increased motion.

Lovely day touring on the city sight seeing buses. What a grand , stately old city this is. Just beautiful, abounding with Palaces & stunning architecture. Wide streets, large piazzas (Turin boast the largest square in Europe) yet with small alleys bursting with shops & cafes. Sue and I instantly start to feel nervous of the thousand people crammed into the bus, jostling at our bags. It is clear that we stand out like large untanned thumbs ready to be hammered by cunning pick pockets.
"I must teach you how to not be pick pocketed" he insists. "If someone does this to you" he bumps into me and grins, "then you have been pick pocketed".
