On somewhat of a whim we have decided to venture into Milan for the day. None of us have ever been here before, so its a new experience for all.

The day started beautifully with a large number of people Para-sailing and sailing about on Lake Como this morning. Very nice thing to wake up to. After breakfast we left this lovely place and, with our GPS friend made our way into Milano.

We know that there is no parking in the city centre, we also know ...

... was informed that I needed to get a new boarding pass as Alitalia was covering the delta flight. As I'm going through this process, I'm informed that they need to weigh my carry on ... (Insert adult language). Anyway, they made me check my bag, so I was the crazy girl, on her knees - repacking her bag ... With people in line behind me! I've never had to weigh carry on luggage! Ugh! Needless to say: I will be shipping things home! FedEx here I come! This plane ...

... we are then advised we can go into the Dining Room if we wish, well then it all changes. It is like being in a very flash Restaurant with silver service having Moet poured down your throat, and given a menu that you only dream of. So we kick off with Cornmeal Crusted Scallops & Quail legs stuffed with goose liver mousse which is just about the best thing I have ever eaten. Christopher, our Indian waiter from Mumbai, keeps pouring the Moet while we wait for ...
