    ... the official seat of the South African government and also the location of the offices of the president of South Africa. We couldn't actually go in, but we could see a statue of Nelson Mandela that was placed there in accordance with his death, just under a year ago.     ... and Lionel live in a gated community in the suburbs south of Pretoria. Cilla was one of Rosamund's flat mates in London when she was 22. We were surprised and delighted to see how well Lionel was doing. He had a motorcycle accident and was in a coma for weeks before he regained consciousness.     After breakfast with Craig and his mum, we headed out to The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve about 45 min drive from the house. The privately owned game reserve, is about approxmiately 1 600 ha and is situated in the "Cradle of Humankind", a declared World Heritage Site, about 40 km north-west of Johannesburg and 60km east of Pretoria.
