    Final Push After Relaxing Weekend

Mmmmm. The weekend was glorious. Stolen were a few hours of quiet time watching the shooting stars with hubby, pedicures with Nana, sitting on the deck with the puppy and partaking in an impromptu water balloon fight with the kids. It was great to slow down from the crazy pace of packing to spend time with those we love. With three days to go I've recharged my battery for what will no doubt be a busy and emotional three days. The bug has struck again. Having spent the evening hearing about the recent adventures of my travel partner in crime, I'm ready to jump on the plane tomorrow. I had the best intentions to have my "to do" list completed in order to relax prior to departing but this week I've stalled ...

From Kingston, we cycled to Wellington in Prince Edward County, an Island south of Ontario. We cycled about 85km that day. We camped in Doug and Shirley's backyard: They have a beautiful house right on the lake.

... Things I Miss"?.... I miss running into all those people that, over time, became friendly faces / happy encounters. Surprised myself just how many that turned out to be!!
If time/money/itinerary allowed - yes I would do it again!! I have had great experiences and I now have those great memories of all those places I had only dreamed about ...I still "pinch myself" ...I was very fortunate to have been able to do this trip - I ...
