      ... look at a mosaic mural that an artist created using more than 3,500 photographs. It tells the the history of Quinte West but also has photographs includes photographs of regular people and famous people. The significance of the movie reel and film strip that flows from it harkens back to Trenton's movie years when it was known as Hollywood North, just as BC lays claim to such a title in western Canada.

      ... and a lot of history is evident in the buildings around town, which we saw even more of as there was a race/walk in progress so we zig-zagged through the city. Finally, we were no longer on the race course and came across the penitentiary which was located in what I would definitely consider prime waterfront real estate, along the shore of Lake Ontario.

      Every year when March rolls around we can't wait to head to Vermont's best kept secret - Bolton Valley. This year we are glad to have the Casey family joining us for the trip. The temperature at Bolton has stayed on the cool side and the conditions are supposed to be great. We will know soon enough.
