Hardest day so far. Longest too. Very long! Staying in an Albergue with over 70 people but population of the town is 20. Nothing here but a church. Wine next door is 1 euro so singing and uking in the court yard was great fun with about a dozen people. The "German Kids" now have names: David, Johan, Anna, Anica, & Annabell. We enjoy them greatly. All are on break from ...

As i sit here and type a romanian lady has just walked in / stumbled in and she is not in a ...

... Good clans. In addition, it had a very comfortable plaza and a beautiful church. We estimated the interior of the church to be about 60 feet tall. The entire wall behind the altar (about 30 feet wide by 60 feet high) was covered with gold leaf interspersed with dozens of paintings and statues. We wanted to take a picture but worried that it might offend the locals to treat a place of ...

... back the same way. Maybe that's how he spends his days...walking backwards and forwards along the road in search of pilgrims to promote his albergue? Anyway, it was a welcome relief to see a cafe; time for a rest. Off with the shoes, a snack and the toilet. I've learned to ask for the servioso and usually the shop or cafe owner will allow me to use their private toilet... We headed off for the next village, Ventosa. The wind was ...
