I was off shift at 1PM so I went to Sainsbury's to buy another sandwich (ugh) and 4 containers of Pringles because they were on sale. When I got back to Pembroke Joe was just leaving, so we stopped and chatted ...
... that had to be taken to their classes, but that was no biggie. Natalie and Adam bought snacks and flowers for Ruth, Emma, and me for covering the late shift last night. Then we got a call from the porters - apparently the Fellows working in Pembroke this morning were upset about the amount of noise on the quad during our Weekender sorting, so for the second session we had to move the kids as far away from the Fellows' staircase as possible to keep ...
... and went straight to bed.
The health of Pembroke in general is quickly dwindling. Whatever congestion/sore throat thing I have is spreading, and there is also a stomach flu-esque thing going around. We had 12 kids out of classes today with symptoms of either sore throat/congestion/headache or stomach pain/nausea/vomiting. Good times. Will went to Boots and bought antibacterial gel and wipes so we could sanitize the office.
