... been left to grow and some of these trees are huge and very old. One of the trees is estimated to be between 1000 and 1400 years old. As Corinne says, it must have seen a bit of history. The track we took was also marked with red flags which were trail markers for a mountain run that was due to take place on the following day over distances of 16.3 kms, 30.1 kms or 46.6 kms with an altitude change of 3019 meters. People run these things!!!!!!
