    Day 1

Today is a beautiful if not nippy Tuscan day. The views are beautiful of the surrounding hills. We take off for a drive through this area and we end up at the village of Saturnia. This village has its own natural spring and water fall. Off we go and find many people enjoying the warm sulfur water in a neat bathing area that has been ...

Into Orbetello, situated on a causeway linking the mainland to what otherwise would be an island. Two outer lines of dunes have created two large saltwater lakes either side of Orbetello and its causeway. Pleasant town with some remnant walls and a fortified entry portal. Continued onto the ...

Day 264 2 hrs, 4.3 kms I figure I'll make one more stop before my next big destination of Livorno. So I hop off the train in the town of San Vicenzo and find... another beach town. This one does have bit more density to it, with a boardwalk and pedestrian street near the sea, and residential neighborhood up into the hills--probably mostly summer homes... Let's move ...
