    ... and had lunch. We then went on a hunt to find the gelato store that served the biggest scoops. Satisfied with our adventures of the day we decided to catch the ferry to a small town called Lenno, where we had a refreshing dip in the lake and then returned to the hotel.     So to Rome. Perhaps we should have allocated more than just one day to cover the entire city, however Bea has seen it all before so this is a quick jaunt entirely for my sake. I managed to persuade Bea to crawl out of bed to get the 7:42 train into Rome and maximise our limited time in the capital. It was on our arrival at the station that it all started to go wrong.
