    Fantastic start to this morning we even made it down in time for breakfast .... off we go again on our next adventure .... Think our legs are rested up from the other days hiking.

    Kings Canyon is about 1hrs drive from our hotel so not so bad. A spectacular drive up 6,000 ft to the entrance.

    The hotel is worth a mention in that it has no bar. I mention this because years ago I got to arrange a trip to Bath for a rugby weekend with some friends and managed to pick a Salvation Army hotel, the only one in the city without a bar.
