Late lunch today at a farmhouse. Being a Sunday it was busy with other customers too, a communion party and a birthday. The meal was full on! Started at two and didn't finish till four thirty. First lots of antipasti - caponata, fresh ricotta, battered vegetables, stuffed tomatoes, focacias, chickpea slides. Then lasagne of ricotta, spinach ...

... only spending 2,50€ on these capers but this was so nice. Then we saw he had a bin of sundried tomatoes and we asked to buy some of those. He ended up insisting on giving us the tomatoes also. Love these random acts of kindness. Lots of grazie grazie and ciao ciao. Off we went, smiling about another memory made. We then walked out to the sea and enjoyed the views before heading home to our studio. Another great day.
