The road climbed through olive groves and gave us a final view of Cefalu. We stopped briefly at the Santuario di Gibilmanna then continued to climb until we entered a green valley, with the central Madonie massif behind.

... and crackers that we bought at the local supermarket. After the boys dry off and get dressed, we go to dinner in a little restaurant just down the road. ... these things were accomplished. Incredible feats for sure.






That afternoon we spent our time in the Piazza del Duomo with its cathedral built in 1131. It is so large that it is basically Cefalu. We also visited the same area after dark and the cathedral was so pretty at night and nice to visit as no one else was near it.
