When I went to open the shutter this morning the cord broke and with an almighty crash down it came. Luckily we had not left anything on the balcony as there is no way we would have been able to get it. The room was very claustrophobic with the shutter down so we left as soon as we could. ... again, it was another sweltering hot day with the indicator in the train showing as we approached Palermo that the temperature was 36 degrees.
