... citronella candles and mossie coils as defence. A great cardamon chicken, a great time and a great Swiss wine! We learnt that Roman had been in the building trade in London. A big Boss. He was involved with many famous people. Michael Caine, Freddie Mercury, Phill Collins, Elton John, Cliff Richard. Very interesting and left Craig and Roman wishing they'd known each other earlier. Anna and Rob, our Dutch friends have also now arrived and waiting to be hauled out ...

... dogs! It was really an amazing sight to see and I felt like I was back in the Galapagos again or watching an incredible documentary of some sort whilst it was happening. The guys working for SOS also showed me the information they had to document for each turtle, explained the tags and tracking systems and I really did learn a lot that evening! They do really amazing work and are mostly volunteers so I take my hat off to all of them!

... house. Of course the sky cleared and the birds came out, but by then it was too late to try the hike again. We watched birds from the terrace for a while more (and saw a Tucan! and a few more hummingbirds) before it was time to head back down the mountain. Was a bit of a bummer for me.... It was a holiday (Corpus Christi day) so not much was happening in the city, so we took a rest before we went out again to see a "cultural show" of ...
