... finally, they revealed that the flight to Palau has been cancelled due to technical problems of the aircraft. I only supposed to be there for three days anyway, so I thought about cancelling the trip at all. But they gave me an option: Taking the flight the next day via Guam. I'm loosing a day but... Ok let's do that!

Thirdly, Guam is US territory. Which means that I was lucky enough I was able to enter as an EU citizen without a visa. Only a quick online ...

When I started wandering around I had hoped that I would make it to the Guam Museum but as I had misjudged the walk, I instead found myself looking through the various shopping malls that inhabit the main tourist areas of Tumon.
