Taxi wouldn't drive to kata beach without accommodation booked so stopped off to find some where. Found hotel called the Patong Gallery for 1300 bht the night. Nice hotel, fairly central. Left early to phuket town to find Phuket backpackers, central, basic and comfy. Day spent touring around the town. Saw many temples and queen Sirkits 70th birthday preside of gardens and large golden dragon.

We did a little dancing on Seasame Street on the way out, and couldn't resist stopping in again at Candylicious, and the Hersey's shop on level two. While locating the monorail exit we discovered a 7/11 (Paige had been hanging out for a slushy ever since discovering the ones at Universal were ...

... to start the wedding was a lot of noise and fun before the quiet parts with chanting monks. After the nice ceremony it was off to the bar for morning tea and a chance to start the catching up. Met cousin John's fiancÚ Vicki and spent most of the day with them catching up on lives. Had some nice chances to chat to Dom and Hilary as well during the day.

A quick mercy dash back to the hotel by Carl was required after ...
