We have been really enjoying settling into Khon Kaen and getting to use the Piman Family and Fitness centre. It is the clubhouse for our gated community that our condo is in.

Colette and I have been going to the gym quite a bit...in fact my "physique" is apparently undergoing massive changes. LOL. Ok maybe not massive. They have a great selection of equipment to use and I will admit after only a few days of going there my body is craving ...

... of washing the riding kit was first priority as usual. Catching up with Skype calls and the blog was next. It is so easy to keep in touch these hi-tech days. ... it is a 4 or 5 star hotel with Thailand prices, an awesome pool, and really tasty food and bakery selections. Split four ways, it was a very nice way to spend the weekend since we took the weekend off from traveling and just wanted to have time to relax.

Today, I spent the day writing a research paper that is due right after our program gets back from Laos and preparing for a Thai conversation that I have to do tomorrow for a ...

    Sleep Sleep Sleep !

I have never slept so much, not sure if it's the humidity, (fortunately not too hot now) or the assault on the senses that is........ Khon Kaen. Crossing the road is a challenge, it's a melee of cars, scooters buses and tuk tuks, no priority for the pedestrian, even walking on the pavements is a hazard, but there's no " Where there's blame there's a claim" culture here. 5 star hotels sit side ...
