Waste of time!

... little things with quality of construction/work on the new unit. Wood finish much nicer on Max; WTH! There's a hole in the floor beside the passenger slide.....told that was so techs could get to water lines and electric lines if needed to repair them (put a piece of carpet there to cover it up); wood used in drawers felt thinner.

... guide' to our spot which was long and level, but narrow. Had to swing the coach out on a narrow entry road to get it between the concrete pad and electric post. There was a 3 ft high set of 4 metal electric pipes beside the entry road that I caught the back end of Max on. Wouldn't have been bad except it had been hit before and the top was bent out and the ends were rolled up. So Max now has a 'boo'. Nothing major, but an irritant.

Grandsons

We spent a very fast paced 3 days with our grandsons. We took them for the day on Sunday and anyone that has ever kept 3 little boys, 8, 7 and 6, know that is a tiring:)

We took them back to the camper for lunch and over to see the light house on St. Marks. There is a little hiking trail that the boys enjoyed. Overall a great visit. Also our oldest just got a house and we helped by keeping the boys away so they could paint the day away.

And finally..... we have ourselves on the road for our summer travels. After all the RV prep and waving goodbye to work for the summer, we have finally put some miles on the road -- feels good. However, we haven't even made it out of the state yet! We are already finding some interesting places in northern Florida, so we're taking this opportunity to see our state capital and the Panhandle ...

... you know they'll try. Instantly the feel of the area changes to a dedicated holiday zone. Everything for hire, large hotels, water parks and mini golf. I took the turn to the seashore, following alongside a public beach before I hit the gates for the park. My annual pass got me through and I drove in. The white sand was all over the road like it was snow, it needed to be plowed. The seashore was a bit swampy with a lot of low lying water logged areas, but ...
