A new pace of 14 minutes 55 seconds per mile. Neither rain (and it did rain), wind (IN MY FACE), nor semi truck splash shall keep this teacher from her appointed goal! I was so excited I was jumping up and shouting "Yeowwww!" every time that little ...

... will need to send some of it back to San Diego before we can continue our travels. The fairgrounds ended, we walked back to the motel and got changed so we could walk into town and meet up with Julia and Kirk for dinner. From here the boys hit a strip club for Kirk's bachelor party while Erica and I went back to Julia's room for a glass of wine and girl chats. Julia dropped me back at the motel a while later and Wayne came in an hour or so after ...
