    ... fast since I first arrived! Amazing how they just thrive in that environment! I was excited to hear that I would be able to taste one of the cucumbers before I left! Yay!     Today was a nice laid back day. We had a late breakfast and then did "chicken round up" which is where you have to catch certain chickens and put a small color band around their foot so you can tell which are the older and younger chickens. Here on the farm we have about 30-40 araucana chickens which are all younger chickens who haven't started laying eggs yet, and about another 30ish older chickens with some araucanas but mostly Rhode Island reds which are the ...
