    ... walk up to it we sing "bad to the bone...da da da da da....bad to the bone" Yes, because we look SO BAD! LOL) and we raced into town for dinner at the Taverna Poseidon restaurant and shared a seafood plate for two. It was very good and the staff were super friendly and came rushing back with a second Limoncello after dinner drink when I oooood and aahhed at how good it tasted! We wandered around after that enjoying the sunset ...

    It was great to have a good nights sleep and I felt happy waking with my David beside me, all excited at the shopping, massage and manicure/pedicure he had lined up for me today. I had to laugh that it was raining heavily with huge black clouds above. I've often hated having my birthday in Winter....and as Mum used to remind me ALL THE TIME....it's also on the shortest day of the year! Here we are on sunny Poros and it's quite cool and bucketing down. ...

    ... of the afternoon by the sea, dozing and reading our books. Not too eventful, but as usual the time still seemed to whiz by!

    ... Athens and we easily worked out the Metro system to Pireaus port to catch the ferry. Unfortunately though that wasn’t till 5.30 and we were thankful that our disappointment at not getting an earlier ferry turned out to be a good thing. We arrived at the port in the early afternoon and enjoyed a rest and drink after navigating our cases from the train station.

    Onto the ferry and I snoozed...didn't ...
