After spending the morning exploring the Terracotta Army complex of pits we left Xi'an and headed west on the motorway. Feel every much that we are now on our way home. Seems a shame we didn't explore the city of Xi'an more as I would have enjoyed revisiting many of the sites again - but Eion and Andy seem very keen to keep moving onwards.

... the road ahead is very rough and quite dangerous. He recommend us taking the bus instead. We thank him and walk off the freeway, catches a taxi to the otherside of the city where the highway continues onward to Tianshui. It's 6:30pm and the sun is slowly setting. There's no more buses it appears as we stand on the side of the highway. We plan to wait until it gets dark and if we can't find a bus or truck to Tianshui we will stay overnight at Baoji.
