... got up early to do some wine tasting. We were in the Willamette Valley wine region of Oregon so were able to taste some very nice Pinot Noir. It was very cold weather! From here we headed directly to the coast where we started our road trip down Highway 101.

from sliding too far into the abyss of laziness and cheered us when we
needed a boost.

As our time here comes to a close (we plan to depart on a rambling journey back east tomorrow morning), I'm sad to say goodbye to friends and the stability of a home base, but excited by the prospect of seeing more of our country's natural beauty. Yes, new adventures await!

... A lot of the members were going to attend another rally in Albany however this was not something for Pat and I as we had made previous plans to meet friends at Champoeg State Park. After the four days of this rally we prepared to get moving onto our next destination which was going to be Mallard Creek RV and Golf resort. We were going to join some others from the rally prior to meeting our friends at Champoeg. We pulled out on Sunday around 12:30 on our way to Lebanon, Oregon.
