... isn't a bad seat in the house. Halfway through the tour we stopped for cookies and hot apple cider. It was an amazing property and I would happily go back to tour some of the other buildings on the site, like the students' designed and executed shelters. We left the rv park early in the morning and followed a very curvy road up and over the mountains to Prescott, Arizona. Prescott is an old western mining town. The mines still hang over the quaint downtown, with its saloons, cafes and art galleries. Bill's sister Mary has lived at 7,000 feet above Prescott at Cabbage Patch for the past decade. She made the drive down and we had a great lunch at a home style diner and caught up with each other's lives.
