... later. We had some pre-drinks with dinner and then headed to the busy end of the beach. There were loads of people doing fire shows at the different bars (like we had seen in Railay but on a bigger scale). We walked down to a bar called "Ibiza" and decided this was the best place. Chang and Cosmopolitan's in our hands we watched the amazing fire show. It did feel a bit uneasy watching them balance in ridiculous ways, one guy was walking a tight ...

It's a crab coming out of the ground to eat. I squat down to watch him. He is tiny. I'm like this for a few minutes and when I look up there are crabs everywhere. The water is shallow for around 100 metres, like ankle deep, and then in the afternoon the tide goes very far out, around 100 metres, then by 10pm at night its right up to the edge of the bars on the beach and deeper than normal.

That night it was a full moon and they celebrate with a party on the beach. A bit similiar to Koh Phangan but not as ...

When we were in Krabi we made a short 2 day trip to Koh Phi Phi. The water there is pristine. Crystal clear and blue as can be. Though the water was amazing, one thing that decreased the overall ambiance was how touristy it was. Right as we got off the boat we were charged with a 20 baht--70 cent fee to help keep Phi Phi clean. Oh the irony as we walked 100 meters further and see a huge pile of rubbish.

... clean streamlined entry to cut into the blue liquid. So a mighty slap into the sea has now matured into some beautiful full length leg bruises, an interesting alternative to those full sleeves and thigh tattoos all around us.

From there it was across to Phi Phi Ley and a quick stop at the Viking cave. The Viking cave dates back hundreds of years and they know they were used by Pirates to hide out in during the monsoons. The bit that doesn;t make sense and gives the place ...
