We get up, have another delicious brekkie at the b&b and then head out through the country lanes. The B&B we are staying in is a small place, it has four rooms – two of which we are occupying. We go down to breakfast this morning and meet the other residents – a husband and wife with their mum. We order what we want for breakfast and it is freshly cooked for us, while we wait we chat to the other guests. Afterwards we head for the nearby village of Castle Acre, where we visit the old priory, which is now a ruin and in the hands of English Heritage. We pick ...

Ok it's been a long time since we blogged and NO we are not as yet on another trip but our adventures continue anyway. So in an effort to remember all the crazy things we do I decided to add last nights events to our blog.

We wnet to Skegness for the first time in 5 years then found out we had booked in at the same Touring site too. Though this was a trip to take Grand-daughters for birthday treats so we raied the internet for Bogoff tockens for Natureland and The Pleasure beach even found ...

Reflecting upon the experience, it was *************eering one for myself, simply because it is a place visited on numerous occasions in the past, but it always leaves me wondering just what a foreign visitor would make of a town of this nature, which typifies the tacky, yet somehow alluring nature of a fair number of British coastal towns.

I called Connie at her bedside phone, which I had set up the evening before, to see how she was doing. She sounded pretty rough as stiffness had set in, but said she was better than the day before, which made me feel somewhat better, but not much.
