There has been a very large tomb discovered near Amphipolis. Archaeologist date it to the time of Alexander the Great and think it might be his tomb but no evidence has been discovered yet to confirm the claim.

We spent three nights in Stavros, which is part of Chalkidiki. We stayed with Dads friend Vicky, who has triplets, Steffi, Spiro and Lambos. We had a lot of fun. One day we went to a really cool beach where we had a whole section of the beach to ourselves with umbrellas ...

Then off to bed for an early night - its becoming a routine! Off to Gallipoli tomorrow so we all want to be nice and fresh for ...

A travel blog entry by biancamack on May 30, 2013

Good hearty brekky of bacon and eggs today - a great way to start the day! Said goodbye to Ian and Jess who are leaving the tour today. A four hour drive to Meteora. Checked into the hotel - one of our nicest ones so far. Rooms of 2 (even though Dan tried to trick me that it was rooms of 8, because I was asleep when the room list went around.). Checked into the hotel and then went up the street for a ...

... not only because it’s awesome but because its awesomeness keeps me awake. I’m a little but like a colicky baby in that car rides make me sleepy – but 90s music keeps me awake (and makes me dance in my seat, which is like exercise, right?) and me awake means Dan stays awake. Dan staying awake means that we don’t die in a car crash. He has a tendency to fall asleep at the wheel and so keeping him awake is very important. Did you know that a car could kill ...
