... can avoid paying taxes!!

Grey skies and about 19 degrees today, so not cold. I would say at least half the shops and restaurants are closed up for winter, and probably hotels too. We are the last guests at this hotel.
I can't imagine how crowded it would be here in summer! It's sort of nice like this - not having to fight the crowds. We've been lucky like that!

... we passed through some mountains and got closer to the coast the towns became more prosperous with huge resorts at the entrance to Bodrum which is a big tourist town. It's pretty empty at the moment and we are the only people at the small boutique hotel where we are staying.

The temperature is about 18 degrees and it looks stormy tonight!

... and go. I did it. My vanity had already taken a massive hit for the past 2.5 weeks, so why stop now? We went to the ruins in Kos, which were interesting, and far more visited than those in Astipalia. There were magnificent views from the hilltop fortress remains, with many a photo-op.
