... some of the activities on offer. Upon our arrival, the town was still streaming with people for how late it was in the season. We did our research and ended up booking scuba diving for 35.00 each for a half hour dive off the coast. That day happened to be market day as well, so we were able to buy a few necessities that were 'taken' from us a few weeks beforehand.

... on but how it happened is beyond me. The boat was not that big and the crowd certainly felt enormous. We left late and the trip took a bit longer than normal (because the boat was so low in the water?) and the poor Australians docked with just 20 minutes to get to their cruise. We'll never know if they made it. We, however, had a simple walk to the bus station to head to Turkey's most famous ruin: Ephesus.

... our ferry to Kos. And guess who had followed us to the bus terminal - the taxi driver keeping up with the big sell. I noticed a bus in the depot and went up to ask where he was heading. Athens - it was the 4pm express bus that hadn't left yet. I called out to Katalin to buy the tickets and we quickly ran to get on.
