... castle sits on a tiny piece of land, once surrounded by water, jutting out to sea in the bay of Bodrum, but is now surrounded by yachts, fishing markets and lots of stores and restaurants. The castle's main purpose is now the underwater archaeology museum of mined ship wrecks in the Medierranean, with arguably the best collection of ancient underwater finds in the world. ... I discovered Bodrum after breakfast when I set out to walk the town rather than walk the ship.

Boy, did I walk, I think the flat section lasted about three miles and then the path turned up hill. Motikas sureb välja, mis ei sega alla veeremast, segab aga ühel vähestest sirgetest lõikudest edasi sõitmast. Käivitub siiski taas pärast mõningast jõuramist. Saan selgeks, et mäest alla ...

Today was all about seeing Kos a little closer. Cheryl and I found this great little cafe that sold English breakfasts, so we made an early start. After we finished we caught up with the others at the Marina cafe. From there we decided to hire some bikes. I would have preferred the Dune buggies they all drive around in, but I can say that I am not confident in driving on the other side of the road. Lets play it safe on the bikes. ...
