... the staff there were great, but they said that they had a different hotel for us to stay in, so they loaded our bags into a van and drove us to the new place. It was a lot newer and did not have the soul or personality of the last place, but in times of need, we took it, plus the fact was that it was free. Always a good Jew boy price !!!

Took the SuperCat from Tagbilaran to Cebu City across the Cebu Straight. Easy crossing, about 90 minutes. Taxi from the harbor to Cebu City.

The Diplomat Hotel is OK, nothing fancy but the price is right. Centrally located, walk to shops. PHP50 cab ride to Ayala -- must see! I am no fan of malls but this one is done right. Lots of open spaces, outdoor restaurants and some great shops.
