... so many people feel the need to go to this one because of the film.
In the evening, we went up to the sunset viewpoint. It was quite steep and harder going, taking the scenic route we chose, than expected. The viewpoint had a great view, yet you couldn't see the sun going down. We found a better spot for sunset with the help of some friendly people at the payment place. ...

We hadn't booked a hotel and when we arrived on the island we were relying on one of the many hotels reps to sell us a good deal. Whilst I was still getting our bags off the ferry, Chelsea went off in search of a good hotel. We settled for a fairly decent one which was in a good location. I say 'fairly decent' but it's amazing how our standard of hotels ...

... was visibly shaking with how loud the music was but somehow we slept like babies. The next day we got up early and headed to the islands famous viewpoint with the Americans. We started early to avoid the heat, but that was in vein. We were sweaty messes by the time we got to the first viewpoint and we still had another 2 to get to which were even higher! It was worth it in the end though, the view was outstanding. The rest of our afternoon was spent walking around Phi ...
