... the film and encouraged by reviews from friends we all signed up for a boat trip the next morning that would take us not only to “The Beach” beach but also to see some monkeys and cave formations too. We even agreed to meet at 5.40am to have a sunrise start and beat the crowds to Maya beach. And it was totally worth it. ... next day i arrived we had to get on this little power boat and make our way over to Maya bay. The waves were crazy on our way over there and i didnt know whether the boat would actually tip over or not, the guy driving the boat had to keep stopping as we were going so fast and the waves were spilling over. A little piece of paradise
... there - very picturesque.
In the afternoon we stopped to snorkell twice, which was AMAZING! Saw loads of tropical fish and sea urchins, and the water was so warm! Haven't done much snorkelling before but really loved it - amazing how much there is to see under the water and how beautiful and clear it all is.
Definately a must see set of islands - fab day :)
