... spiked a few years ago. No turtles though which most divers are able to see. Snorkelling in Maya bay was not so good because of the visibility but we had a bit of drama when the ropes on our boat got tangled so the boatman had to jump in to sort them out. Last stop was Khai Island which was closer to Phuket so a 40 minute journey on the speedboat. The island is basically for locals to make money from tourists on their way back from Phi Phi.
