We left Khao Sok and travelled three hours in the minivan of death (who overtakes on a blind corner...really?!) to the beautiful beach resort town of Ao Nang in Krabi. It was a care of heading straight to the beach to nurse our shattered nerves. My exuberance for getting to the beach meant disaster for areas of my back not attended to with the sunscreen...yowee. We spent one night in Krabi before getting the 'long tail boat' onwards to 'Railay Beach', described by the Lonely Planet as one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand.
