Sunday morning we have a 7:45am flight out of LAX which means going to the airport at 5:45am. Ungodly time. We are flying on Mexicana Airlines via Mexico City to Guatemala City. <br>Not exactly sure yet where we'll meet up with Rose and Jim....probably at LAX before the flight.<br><br><br>

Finally got the truck back, all fixed and running beautifully. Decided to get on the road, though it was already 2 pm. Headed south along Flathead Lake through green forests and valleys to I-90, then west, west, west. All uphill, what a climb, to Coeur d'Alene in Idaho, then downhill into Washington State. Spent almost two hours trying to find Riverside State Park in the city of Spokane, finally set up the camper and tried to settle down for the night.

... takes us a few minutes. There were about 3 other RV's there too. It was still miles too hot so we had to get the 12 volt fan out to help the kids get to sleep. Once they had dropped off we took it and managed to get to sleep too. It was a very quiet car park and we all had a good sleep. It had cooled off considerably by the middle of the night and in the morning it was a much more reasonable temperature.
