We had an early start for our game of golf; a 8.12 start and so had to leave the apartment at 6.30. The traffic was pretty light but we couldn't decide whether this was because is was early or the holiday. In fact we couldn't really decide if it was a holiday. Most shops seemed open but I think the businesses were closed since on the way home it did seem quiet.

Being Sunday the roads were quiet and we set off for a drive into the mountains to see the Roman city of Termessos.
The city dates from around 400BC and is set in a very odd location high on the top of a mountain pass. The road up to the start of the city is steep and clearly had the odd Roman site on route with walls etc. visible.

Today we explored Antalya. After breakfast we set forth on the bus to the city. It's only 4km along the coast but we decided to leave the car and grab a bus (2TL) which took us directly to our first stop; the museum. Antalya Museum is unbelievable.
