    ... place. We sat down, and sang softly the songs we knew. A drummer, friend of the guitarist, came along to accompany him by beating time on the marble steps. A couple, both of them seriously tipsy, danced lasciviously until he couldn't stand up anymore and gave up. An adorable little girl attempted a few ballerina steps. A lovely husky dog decided to join the band and howled softly. The night was warm and soft, and the seductive Split was bidding us a memorable farewell.
