We met at 5pm and shared our last bottle of wine from Koslowic before cabbing to a delicious dinner at Restoran Kadena outside the old city but with a stunning view of the sea (Or as much as one could see at night.) Finally. Full and sleepy we cab bed back for a good night of rest before the busy day that awaits us ...

... have arrived in a fully functioning city, with tourists, yes, but also with lots of people living their own real lives. Still, it only took the walk to our apartment, past the Riva and into the old town, to be completely smitten.

We found our beautiful little apartment on one of the main squares quickly and easily. We’re staying right in Narodni Trg Pjaca, a main square right next to Diocletian’s Palace and ...

The ground was moist but as the sun rose and the others slept I began my ritual of exploring our new neighbourhood and figure out where we are.
