Home for the time being

This summer has been a little weird. I was living with my then-boy friend throughout the spring, but in mid-July I left him. So I moved back in with my Dad. And as my old room had been turned into my Mother's hospital room, while she still lived, it felt a little odd staying there, so I slept in the basement...
But, as my ex had ...

Almost time

It is the day before the day before the day, and I have more mixed feelings than ever. Yes, the weather in Granada is much better than here, yes it is going to be exiting and all, but there is a certain somebody I will be missing a lot, my dear boy friend, whom I met just before I left Denmark in June to got to the Middle East. It will all work out, it has to, but I am very glad that someone invented MSN:-D Take care, Eva Maria

The Car is Behind Door Number....!#@%

... except no car came out. (lightbulb) There must be another exit. So Mårten and I left Staffan and Kalle at the door to hold fort and look for antoher entrance to the garage. We walked around and found another door and a possible button to push to open it from inside if we had a 2m long stick to push it. If only MacGyver was with us. Mårten and I returned to the scene and told our peeps about our discovery. Off we all went because nothing was happening with this door. We ...

... don't have castles? Is it a princess complex? I don't know, but I like 'em! Probably also has something to do with the architecture/decor, really.) Anyway, like I said you can roam all over. The castle was built between 1588 and 1648 but had to be restored following a fire in 1859. There were many amazing rooms, not to mention all the finishings! I really loved all the hardwood ...

It has been very logical...

... lane fenced in on both sides, cars and trucks whizzing by at 110km/h. Every other car that passed honked like crazy, failing to empathize that we didn't want to be there just as much as they didn't want to see us on their highway. Within minutes there was the call to the police by one of those honking drivers and we were pulled over by the police 50 meters before reaching the section of the highway where bikes were allowed ...

First Aarhus Sunday

Sunday, Cloudy Had cereal with milk and 1 Danish chocolate marshmallow for breakfast. Went to the school International Office to meet Gerald, exchange student from NUS at noon- 10 mins bus journey. Rather fast. There's only one bus, no 8 to my school, Handelshojskole located at Viborgvej then have to cross a junction and walk around 5 mins. Today is my first time traveling on the bus. I had to chuck my bus ticket into a machine and the machine will stamp ...

... started from one of the stoves used to heat the palace. the palace was rebuilt and 56 years later there was another fire caused by a clogged heater pipe and the palace burned down again. the third palace constructed is the one we saw. we actually took a tour underneath the palace of the ruins and foundations of the old castes, the first dating back to the late 11th century, and seeing how it expanded and changed over time and ...

Fredericksborg Castle

Today I went to the suburb of Hillerod to see Fredericksborg Castle. Basically none of the castle is original. Thanks to the overabundance and use of wood, things tend to burn down a lot in Denmark and this castle did back in the 1700s (?). Luckily, someone had made sketches of the entire castle the year before...how convenient. Of course, the royalty wasn't interested in the castle anymore, but one of the Carlsbergs (ya know, the beer) decided to ...

He spent most of the night with me hanging out with everyone and ended up crashing with us at Morten's place.. He was luffly haha! After only an hour or so sleep we were up and heading back to Malmo.. back to London and home again.. All ready for the next festival in Guildford..
