... statue of the Little Mermaid. We also biked to her family's summer cottage, a quaint one room home, which is used mostly by her mother and aunt for gardening. Almost everyone, if not everyone, lives in apartments in city center of Copenhagen, making it difficult to have garden space. Grant and I headed out for a walk around 11. Called into the local supermarket around the. corner to grab a few grocers. Not an easy task we you can't read the lingo. Ben and said that there is very little choice in brands as they tend to stick to local brands, so the shop was quite small, but packed with shoppers. We returned to the hotel and took a brief break. Thanks to Marriott points, we have access to the Executive Lounge, so our breakfasts and snack/drinks in the evening are included in the stay. Not glamourous for meals, but filling. We met a couple from Atlanta that were starting a cruise from Copenhagen and had great conversation about travels and travails.
