By the time I got back to the hostel, I felt disgustingly hot and my feet were black from walking around in Christiania (the ground is mostly dirt with not so many cobblestone areas). So I had a shower and then joined Brittany for dinner. We'd missed out on the free dinner which we didn't mind but we also didn't want to go far for dinner (feet were very sore) ...

... must if you're ever in Copenhagen. And, after having a spot of dinner, and wandering around, I returned to my hotel, and crashed completely. I think that I was still a bit jet lagged because I hadn't felt that tired for a long time. So that was was yesterday. The Winter Garden in the middle of the ground floor was stunning (high domed with abundant plants and water features) and there looked to be plenty to keep even the most ardent "head of statue" lover entertained. It is a shame we didn't get enough time to see it all but lunch had been so good!
