... soaked by people with water pistols and buckets of water. Taxis are stopping to let passers by soak the passengers with hoses. People are throwing water at people on mopeds. After googling and finding that 700 people in Thailand died last year on Songkran because of the trucks of water and water being thrown .... So after arriving at the port and being thankful for getting off. We hopped into a mini van with 10 other people and made our way to haad rin for 100 baht each. The minivan driver as usual tried to drop us off in the middle of nowhere and just said this is haad rin. Everyone shouted and complained and we got dropped off at our hostels. ... Our main activity for the island was having a go at Phangan Wipeout. An imitation of the obstacle course tv show total wipeout. Me and Andrea were the kids for the day while mommy and daddy Aimz and Pat sat and watched us bailing and failing.
