... that was enough for me. I was not going back to sleep. We got ourselves ready for diving that morning and were both absolutely shattered but still freaked out by last nights antics. We set off for diving, today was only the theory side of it so it was back to school for us! Whilst filling out our safety forms talked turned to the previous nights sleep. Chesca said she had felt uncomfortable in the room and randomly woke up in the early hours with the need to check that the doors ...

We arrived late afternoon and parted with the boys as we had booked separate accommodation. We had quite a nice room and got a double bed each as Sam and Hannah were supposed to be sharing with us. ... Wong Bay and then Mango Bay. Lots of fish, but less then I expected! Lunch in boat in mango bay. Beach at Koh Naang Yuan island, very busy but beautiful! Snorkeling and sun bathing. Back to Mae Haad and to Sairee. Sunset by the hotel pool having a nice beer. Massage at Aurori - looked not as clean as the one in Luang Prabang, but the massage technic was much much better! Very nice! Diner at Porto Belo - Mediterranean restaurant, ok, nothing ...

Day 72 - Snorkelling in Mae Haad Bay

... wreck that is located just off the shore. We struggled to find somewhere, before we returned to go much closer to town, back where we started.

We had all borrowed snorkels from the hostel for free, so dumped our stuff on the beach and ventured into the water for our first foray into snorkelling. Even a few metres out, there was an abundance of fish, so it was clear that this was going to be an amazing experience. However, it wasn't ...
