... on mopeds. We have seen most people here don't wear helmets. But more than that, people take young children on them! We have seen one guy, with a 2yo sat in front and a 4yo at the back. We also saw two ladies riding a moped, the one sat behind had a kid no more than 18 months sat on her lap, again, no helmets. Lunacy.

We caught the Lomprayah catamaran to Koh Phangan, 30 minutes, enjoying the outside deck. When we arrived we had decided to walk to ...

Still a couple of decent, big fish spotted further out, included the largest and most colorful of the tour.

A 2 hour ride by boat from Koh Phangan and we arrived in Koh Tao. We took the Lomprayah speed ferry which was 450 baht, 9, each. Arriving at the pier in Koh Tao we was bombarded with taxi drivers to dive centres to hotel workers. We knew our place we had booked wasn't too far away so decided to walk.

It took us around 10 minutes to walk. A hot sweaty walk, up ...

      ... a bit of downtime.

We booked our bus/boat for the next night, it would be an overnight bus and get us to the pier at 5 am ready for our boat over to Ko Tao at 7am. This bus however was not a sleeper bus and although the seats reclined, there was not a great deal of room, however as usual I slept like a baby!

Once on the boat we were targets for the local dive shops to advertise their promotions, as we already knew we wanted to dive we actually listened this time ...
