Well it seemed as if Hannah and Dave have not been gone very long and when Bryan set off to Bangkok again. He was meeting his friend Paul at the airport who was here with us for two weeks.

First though, a boys weekend in Bangkok as Paul had never been there before.

No more about that here I'm afraid though. What happened in Bangkok, stays in Bangkok!

They arrived on the Lomprayah ferry about 4pm and we showed Paul the apartment and got him ...

The dive to Sail Rock the following day was amazing. They picked us all up at our hotel bright and early. I liked that there were only about 8 of us that went plus the staff. This is a very famous dive site in Thailand. The weather was Ok when we went under the water but when were returned to the surface it was raining quite hard. We did 2 dives here.
The next day I departed for the island of Ko Samui.

... taxi ride later and we were slumping into our cabin ready to rest for the day. The next day i woke up and counted 52 mosquito bites on my legs. Ouch.

Our last days were spent relaxing before we caught the ferry back to the mainland and a bus over to Krabi where we awaited our flight to Kuala Lumpur and back to Australia. Fortunately for us the ferry ride was pretty cool as we got to see all of the beautiful islands along ...

... the only way to get over that was to go on and get my advanced certification. I was the only one in our group of 10 that moved on the next day without taking a day of rest because I just couldn’t wait. So Tina, Vemund, and I hit the ground running with 5 more dives. We did a deep dive, a wreck dive (The HTMS Sattakut, a WWII Navy Vessel donated to Thailand), a fish identification dive, a navigation dive (I got a little lost, lol) and a night dive. All were more ...
