... time was a mixture of swimming in the pool or patong beach, shopping in the markets, walking around the streets including bangla rd and just taking it easy.

Patong beach up the north end where we are is much quieternd the water quite clean. Beach chairs are 100 bht each for any length of time on the day. You'll have people stopping by to sell you hats, sunglasses, bikinis, aloe vera etc but they want hang for long and sometimes are nice to talk to for a brief moment. ...

Being compliant chaps, Mark and I tag along because we have to, she has the money. We head north past Bangla Road and eventually we spend 200 baht and get a tuk tuk back to the BanThai to get rid of shopping items. The tuk tuk has a sub woofer the size our front door, and we get Thai pop music with heavy bass for the 5-10 minute ride, it is an experience though and my ears are still ringing.
Dinner again at Sweet, tonight we feel its like the last ...

... bath, not refreshing at all! When we got back to the boat, Ti and Jack were in the water and felt a bit better for it. The next stop was lunch at the village built over the water on the banks of Koh Panyi. The lunch was a buffet and warm coke and water. Got the boat from Phi Phi to Phuket and went to Phuket Old Town. Had a bit of a wander around, saw a few landmarks and went to a shopping mall to look for a Waboba Ball. Unfortunately there was no ball to be found but I did find a McDonald's and took on the Double Big Mac! I won and it was gooooood.
Got back to the hostel and had a message from Barclays saying to give them a call ...
