It was a quiet night on the harbour. After breakfast we walked on the beach with Logan, he was very wound up by all the local cats, sometimes he's like a dog possessed!
Before setting out for the day, we enjoyed coffee sat out on a bench on the harbour side.

We pottered about in the morning getting ready to leave. Logan had his walk on the beach and then we went to reception to pay. ... bit if snow still on the hills which were very rocky, sometimes there would be a wide green plateau where the fields had been planted. Dropping down to the south we passed some areas if quarrying, this part if Crete is green house land, every spare bit of land that hasn't got holiday accommodation on it has rows of greenhouses. We stopped at a campsite to see if it was open, we still need a washing machine, it was and ...

... if the cove there us a house tucked back from the sea. We parked in front of the small lake where we could hear a loud animal sound, it sounded like a very loud cricket, after some research we decided that it was a Cretan marsh toad. We walked went for a walk through the olive groves, for an hour or so. When we got back we could hear several of the toads all making a loud noise, it sounded as if they were competing with each other. We thought they would keep us awake all ...
