    ... I would pick which I knew would be apple so avoided it completely! Got back to the hotel to find that the amazing deal we'd put a deposit down for was a complete scam. Thankfully we only paid a little! We lounged around the pool for a bit which was nice :) then went to the night market which showed us that Bangkok is a lot better than our first impressions!     ... sorry for myself. I decided to be the person to drag myself out of bed. Well no one else was going to so someone had to do it. I decided to go to MBK, a huge shopping center that has really good reviews. I got a tuktuk (after my taxi driver fiasco I wasn't going back there) and bartered him down from 250 baht to 150 baht (about 2.70).     ... harder every time!

    We finally finished, checked out and wandered around trying to find somewhere for breakfast. Somewhere big enough for us to sit with rucksacks near us. Settled on a place just down the pier, quickly shoved the food down and headed to the pier. It was the usual cattle market with everyone pushing and shoving to get on the boat.

    ... main office had been temporarily closed due to the current protest going on so a make shift office had been created on a top floor of a shopping mall! There were no orderly queues, systems or people who could really tell us what to do so we had to work it out for ourselves! With people of all different nationalities, passports and papers flying around everywhere we found the right queue. We had to get pictures done, ...
