    ... to see them again. We walked to our hotel. We are staying at Le Port Malo, 15 Rue Sainte Barbe, Intra Muros, Saint Malo 33299205299 We are in room 8 and Kim & Alex in Room 7. I wanted to come back to St Malo to watch the tide come in while drinking a bottle of wine! We walked to the shore. The tide was out so we walked to the two closest Forts.     ... empty and we were out of Radlers and Riesling. The sat nav has been great for this, select grocery stores and away we went to LIDL. We also took back our empty plastic bottles for a 25 cents refund per bottle to an automatic reverse vending machine. This spits out a voucher that takes the money off your shop, a great idea and makes a bottle of beer only cost 17 British pence after pfand.

    This morning started out a little slower than others, we do not have much planned for today other than going to the SchoWo tonight. Dave went with Marion to the bakery and market to get bread, buns and fruit for breakfast. It was a nice stroll through the village.     ... hike through 2.5 miles of steep nordic-walking paths to the peak of Yberg, arriving at 6:30 to a man shouting at us in German. It turns out he speaks English and was saying he closes in 5 to 10 minutes.     ... we took the bus to Vaihingen to catch the U-bahn downtown. Brenda had an appointment at the local genealogical society to look at four books in their library that she had been unable to obtain in libraries at home. The librarian spoke English, although he had not lived in the United States for over 40 years. He parents were missionaries and he had spent time in Africa before Germany.
