      ... one had concentric circles on the ceiling another Buddhas and a Buddhist scene with lotus flowers. Many if the caves had names and dates of their occupants, mostly date were in the 70's.
      The cove here is very pretty with a crescent shaped beach, lovely clear water, it would have been lovely living rent free in such beautiful surroundings.

      ... resort of Tsoutsouros The harbour has three fishing boats, one speed boat and one nice cruiser moored in it. We took a walk along the promenade passing several tavernas where locals were enjoying a drink in the last of the sunshine.
      There are plenty of cats in the harbour that are keeping Logan on his toes, they really do drive him mad!

      ... if the cove there us a house tucked back from the sea. We parked in front of the small lake where we could hear a loud animal sound, it sounded like a very loud cricket, after some research we decided that it was a Cretan marsh toad. We walked went for a walk through the olive groves, for an hour or so.       ... distance we can see some old stone buildings and in places the hillsides are terraced. Our path took us across to another bay before starting to climb up through the terraces. There aren't any way markers informing you how far to the next point if interest of even how long the path is, do after a couple of hours we decided we should turn back.       ... more empty or deritict houses than are occupied. The houses are small and low single story, most have animal shelters attached to them. A couple of times we drop down to the sea, it's a beautiful pale turquoise colour today, yesterday it looked green, it's fascinating how the colour appears to change each day.
