    ... Rick, it was late in the afternoon, and we took the most he--raising ride up in a taxi, I thought we were going to plummet into oblivion off the non-guardrail road. The driver was going much too fast, as sliding around the hairpin turns, to where the tail end of the car was within feet of the craggy edges.
