... playing a familiar tune, I look over and the head chef comes out and starts singing happy birthday with the harp player THEN all the other people staying and working at the hotel joined in all singing happy birthday to me. They then presented me with a hand made ornament and wished me another happy birthday. I got up and bowed to all the staff thanking all of them. Matsumoto is a very cute city with its own castle (not that I have seen it). Luke will take the kids out today to do some exploring. Mason doing really well, he can stand with weight on his good leg on crutches. Not allowed to put any more than 10kg of weight on his bad leg for 6 weeks. ... from the outside. We weren’t allowed to explore it as it was barred off so we ascended to the next floor, on this floor the lords supposedly had meetings of war and tactics. It was largely empty compared to the gun museum down stairs. With no furniture or mats in the room it looked relatively unimpressive.
