And now on to our second day off in Matsumoto. I thought originally that I would be able to include both days in one entry, but I am rather more loquacious than I anticipated (go figure) so you are now fortunate or unfortunate to be able to read about another sightseeing extravaganza in Matsumoto!

... the Eiffel Tower was nonetheless majestic and grandiose. The mountains loomed in the distance and the triple moat system surrounding the castle bespoke of ancient bygone days when the castle was a cultural center point for the town of Matsumoto. I am set to daydreaming when I explore historical landmarks like these for they hold the magic and the mystery of the past that eludes us modern day techies. But enough of old buildings! ...
