... sign we found at one junction. We never saw a monkey or another hiker after the teahouse. Since beginning the initial descent, the trail was fairly steep in areas and stairs had replaced some sections of the highway. Between the terrain and the additional weight on my back, my knees and back were starting to feel the strain. ... the final days of Mike's vacation was also Silver Week in Japan. A holiday that only happens roughly every six years. Everything we wanted to do was booked. Due to this and the fabulous time we were having in Indonesia, we tried to extend our trip once in Bali but were unsuccessful. We decided we'd brave the crowds and at least do some day outings. On Monday, we decided to head to Enoshima. Will & I had visited the aquarium, but I wanted to check ...
