... to get some tempura as well, as I hadn't had any yet. My main course was a chewy noodle soup with bear meat. Or that's at least what they said it was. It cost a staggering 3100 yen and the dish as a whole underwhelming. The meat didn't taste exotic at all, and it was somewhat tough. The tempura was better, came with rice, and was 1300 yen. ... look very nice for the few minutes that was clear.
We checked in at the hotel which is a traditional Japanese hotel with mats and no shoes in the room. It has it's own hot spring in the basement. We went for a nice soak. The hot spring pools are segregated and no clothes are allowed.
Dinner was traditional Japanese banquet called Kaiseki. It was more of an art display than a meal. Six courses later, we were full. Sake was great. ...

This morning Fuji-san is clearly visible once again. The mountain that is known for hiding in the clouds shows himself again :-) After a nice breakfast we check out and are heading back to Lake Ashi. Waking up to a glorious day, wow, Fujisan can be seen from the hotel! After coffee and a breadbasket with different breads for breakfast we are ready to start the day.
