... now!) beer over dinner.

The next day had no travel - so the entire day to explore. After breakfast at the hotel, we headed up the road and hired a couple of bikes. We were told it was one of the best ways to experience Brugge - totally agree. With no real plan in place, we set our sights on a bike path we had seen the day before. Whilst we were waiting we heard yowling as a dog in a pet pack went round telling their daddy off for not hurrying up! LOL. The airport has an underground train which connects to the city and an information and ticketing counter to get you on your way. To get to Bruges ...

... activity manager and met the guy from the karaoke again. My feet were starting to hurt so I went back along to the theatre and found that the game had gone on to penalties. I ended up just sitting watching as I couldn’t think of anywhere else to be, plus it meant I didn’t have to be standing up. England lost (which in some ways was a good thing as it meant there were no more matches to disturb things) and Paul and Pat decided to stay on for the show ...
