There are nice parks in the southern side of the old town (which is the end of the boat tour). I can imagine how crowded these parks will be in summer time. Brugges is the wonderful mixture of France, England and Holland. Even in the freezing rain, I helplessly fall in love with this city.

... to dinner. Jane wanted mussels, and we weren't sure what we wanted so we looked at a number of menus. We picked out that was adorable inside- but decided it was going to be too expensive.
