Barcelona and The City of Marvels

Barcelona has become a model around the world for its' development and architecture. The novel, City of Marvels, details the transformation of the city between the two pivotal yet financially disastrous World Expositions. ... Hey, have to keep dreaming big.

I made it back to the Hotel around dark and started packing up the things cause this was my last night in the hotel. I had plans on renting a little place by the beach, but I changed my mind. We walked and walked (knees starting to hurt now) and passed a few ...

... off and left the hostel in search of clothing (with my arms folded across my chest in attempt to conceal the black lace bra that was making itself visible through the thin white fabric of my stylish new t-shirt). Lucky for me, Barcelona is FULL of shops! Within a block of my hostel I had not one, but two Zara's, amoung other options. I selected myself a black silk camisole and a black sweater to go with it, as I had noticed it was slightly ...

... to walk everywhere. And we have DEFINITELY been walking lots! The markets are amazing and I wish the markets back home had as much variety and colour. We are flying in to Venice tomorrow, because the eurail pass wouldn't let us take the train there without going backwards and up and taking a few days.... Complicated and could be disastrous! So we were able to book a 2hr flight that shouldn't be too bad. Spain has been amazing - now on to ...
