    Of great interest was the museum dedicated to the 'Mary Rose" a war ship built by Henry the 8th to fight of and protect his "new" protestant state from the Pope and Holy Rome.
    Built in mid 1600 it served for 34 years before it went down in battle ....half the ship has been saved and preserved because it was covered my mud for 500 years. It took 30 years to process and protect the saved timber.
