I'm really feeling like I'm on holiday now - oh yes, the heart beat is slowing down, the brain is clearing, I stop and smell the roses, as it were!!
Tuesday afternoon, I headed into the forest by Yves and Jake's place - that's where the lovely fresh air comes from! I was heading through the forest to the wildlife park run by ... Peter und Paul! Well, you know my sense of direction!! Maps.me was perfect in the forest - the tracks are so ... yep, they're tidy!! So, ...
... some English is spoken in Zurich, but less in St Gallen and even less in Wittenbach, where Yves and Jake live.
In the morning, and over the weekend, I got to see how gorgeous Switzerland is - so pretty, so colourful (after the brick of England and stone of Scotland), so clean!! so tidy and so relaxed! ... back this makes a lot of sense that the federal police would be right next to customs...but for a foreigner, at the time, I was kind of..just ready to give up. But, we finally found the local station!
So, an errand which should've taken maybe an hour max, turned out to be a two hour journey. But! on the bright side now I know where the hospital, local police, and federal police are. Now I just need to find the fire station!
..........let's hope not XD
... in Berlin, I probably would've laughed. I mean it's kind of surreal. I've only seen this city in movies and I actually got to see it in person. Pretty freaking AWESOME!
Now, it is time for the semester to start...bummer. Actually not really! I'm pretty excited to start classes and to get a routine going. But will travels stop?? Nope! I have some in the making ;) So, until next time my friends!
