      ... their days shovelling the snow from their drive and the footpaths - not even the council just random people. I can understand it if you needed to get your car out but they will shovel like all of it... I haven't figured out if there is a point to it yet haha...

      Anyway we found a little park at Lindau waterfront ,which looked like it would be very nice in summer and they had a little house where you can rent paddle boards - all closed at the moment ...

      ... sky were the same colour and pretty much blended together it looked cool.

      After we had checked in we went for a walk and managed to find a caf which was open for dinner. I got a sandwich and one of the best hot chocolates I've had in a long time. It was really nice and we will probably go back there. Once we walked back it was already dark and the snow is settling still, I think it could get pretty deep!

      ... at all hours of the night, we went for a beautiful walk down at the lake and prepared for our Christmas Eve celebration. The afternoon consisted of Head Chef Felice and Sous Chef Hayley taking on the kitchen and preparing a range of delicious dips, as well as sticky pulled pork neck for the occasion. We drank and were merry the entire evening, all in our matching Christmas pyjamas, thoughtfully transported half way across the world! We watched Home Alone, sang carols ...
