... so.. I figure it's either road crews, or cyclists. Anyway - a huge thank you for whomever is takin the time to beautify the landscape! Of course, another beautiful thing in Ontario is all the water. A thousand lakes?? I think we've seen over half of them.

... I finally arrived at the academy.
I have got a house with 5 other girls, im sure we will become great friends. The program is awesome, intensive chemistry, physics,biology and maths, all what a engineer needs and wants.

... summer recreational town that is central to the many cottages that are sited on a number of lakes in this part of the County. There are some fascinating shops to browse through here; Grumlin Granny's is a Renfrew County favourite. Botanical Glasswork has lots of beads for sale together with mosaic work and a myriad of other bits n pieces for bringing colour and cottage charm to a house. You could browse here ...

Travelled from Quebec City to about 20k east of Petawawa. Picked a spot near a little river by a bridge just off the highway. A little noisy but hey, it's free. Pretty hot and muggy so it was nice to park near a river. Would've gone fir a swim but there was River snakes lurking. Had a nice BBQ dinner, turkey burgers and cold veggies. :-) After ...

... and then on Thursday visited Westmeath and Beachburg. The farming country around looks almost tropical with the lushness of Spring and early Summer growth. Hay is being cut in abundance and the corn is up. Local strawberries are everywhere. The cottages (ie equal to Aussie shacks) around the lakes here are many and in demand for the start of the long Summer holidays. Holidays start from this coming ...
