A sleep in, nice and peaceful.. hopped over to B n E's for breakky, stopping to catch a pic of the squirrel , and then all loaded into the car for a scenic drive to a local artist, Joyce Burkholder who is a painter. Up early today heading off to one Barb and Eleanor's favorite places, Golden Lake about 1 - 1 1/2 hr North West of Ottawa. Travelled from Quebec City to about 20k east of Petawawa. Picked a spot near a little river by a bridge just off the highway. A little noisy but hey, it's free. A sad day as we say goodbye to this amazingly complex City. Could't resist yet another visit to Time Square (it is only 200 metres away from our Hotel). We finally made it to the BIG screen; that is a camera takes your photo if you stand in a certain place in Time Square and a few minutes later there you are - up in lights on the biggest screen you are every likely to be on.
