... kept forgetting that I didn't have to get up. Thanks again for that guys ;) ). Those of us who stayed behind had a nice sunny day at the river - went canoeing, swimming and relaxed in the sun. It was a very nice day, especially after the rather hectic past week.

In the evening the others arrived back in our hostel and it became more lively again. They had a blast rafting and told us all the stories. We had a nice barbecue on the patio for dinner but couldn't start ...

Pecky the Puffin is getting into writing and has decided to go into the BIG TIME with his own Facebook page. No longer wants to share his adventures here. Let us know if you are on Facebook and would like the link. It is quite funny the things he is getting up to. He said he wants to be ...

Easy day, easy night

I had breakfast this morning with the bush cutting crew. They feast around 6am, just my style. We chatted and laughed as if the night never ended and went our separate ways around 7am. Just a chance encounter that ended up worth writing about. The river was all fog as you can see from the picture, but the ride began with an immediate climb that rose above it and stayed high enough so that the fog burned off by the first decent back to the river. It was a very hilly day, but full ...
