... park was a Book Tree. Five thick logs, held together vertically with nooks cut in them to hold books. The nooks were covered with clear perspex to keep the weather out. The books were free. The message being: Take a Book - Share a Book - Leave a Book. Loved this idea. We stopped here particularly to try a delicacy - Beavertail's. Yum. Can't believe we would eat the tail of these cute critters, well we didn't! ...

The drive from Brockville to North Bay is quite long.

Travelled from Quebec City to about 20k east of Petawawa. Picked a spot near a little river by a bridge just off the highway. A little noisy but hey, it's free.
