Let's start with the CONFESSION, Not private, anyone can read this!
Twelve days ago I could hold out no longer and I emailed my dearest Dad asking for his help?
We had been away from home just over six weeks, eaten many cuisines in many regions and I was missing, guess? Vegemite, yes indeed and peanut butter!

The Cathedral is at the highest point on top of this hill and not only oversees the city below, the view of the region is worth the meander. It had been drizzling earlier in the day and hence our wet weather gear was out for the first time. However, it didn't restrict us at all and made the ascent easier as it was cool.
... best pasta. After our meal I joined the group walking up to St. Francis' hermitage. I spent some time up there and walked around through the woods before heading back down to town. I made it in just as it started to get dark and walked around some of the little shops before they close. It's been such a long day that I opted for a shower and nap before dinner. A Big Day in Panicale....for two reasons!
Firstly, I visited Mara, the ladies hairdresser in the piazza. Thought I wanted regrowth and trim?
Picture shows new Sue back in the piazza enjoying morning coffee. I put it down to "lost in translation", ah, it's Italy!
I must say it was definitely the "quietest" visit to a ladies hairdresser I have ever experienced.
Mara speaks no English ...
